stopped selling the model.. while engineers do their own testing. toyota says it's also testing all suvs under the toyota and lexus brands - which totals 6 models. with baseball season having started and better weather hopefully here to stay, the time for outdoor grilling is pretty much just beginning. but for those heading out to the supermarket this spring and summer there may be a bit of sticker shock when buying up all the beef for a proper bar- be-que. meat prices are moving up. "we are forecasting that beef prices in the middle meat will be up 5-7 percent as consumers go forward." that increase at the checkout line represents a change from recent pricing trends in beef and other meats. red meat is 4- percent cheaper than it was in february of last year, pork costs nearly 2-percent less and the price of chicken is down more than 1-percent according to the department of agriculture. but a number of factors on the farm and on feedlots has dan basse of ag resources predicting higher prices for those proteins. other news tonight, the automaker toyota has just announced another recall. this one effects about 600,000 cinema minivans. model year 1998 through 2010. people could see corrosion from the road salt in the spare tire cable. worse case scenario they say the spare tire could fall off the minivan and cause a big problem for whatever vehicle is behind it the automaker is still working on a fix here. folks with cars in this recall should go to their dealers for an inspection. this, of course, is just the latest in toyota's recall troubles which effect more than 8 million cars and trucks around the world. tonight, we are getting a new look at the inside workings at the controversial move by the central intelligence agency. new documents now indicate that after the cia disobeyed a white house order by destroying videotapes of interrogations, the agency's director said he was okay with the decision. here's the back story. it starts in 2002, when cia agents were holding these two suspected terrorists in thailand. we have since learned that the agency used waterboarding on those suspects, w

president nominates someone for the new vacancy on the supreme court. >> toyota announced a new recall. the auto maker said it will check 600,000 siena minivans for corrosion in a cable. the affected minivans are sold in the u.s. from 1998 to 2010 model years. for the record, toyota is an underwriter of the newshour. new information has surfaced on the destruction of cia videotapes that showed water- boarding. the 92 tapes involved terror suspect abu zubaydah. internal emails released last night said former cia director porter goss agreed with the 2005 decision to get rid of the tapes. they said the videos showed interrogators did not follow procedures authorized by the bush administration. the death toll from this week's earthquakes in western china climbed above 1,100 today. officials also said more than 400 villagers are still missing in the mountainous area near tibet. meanwhile, buddhist monks created a makeshift morgue next to a monastery in the shattered region. they chanted and prayed over the bodies of hundreds of victims. >> ( translated ): for us, the tibetan people, this is

driving a blue 1991 toyota van or a red 2001 ford f-350 pickup with a cover over the cab. he is facing several charges, including abduction and violation of a protective order. >>> racy pictures and videos of several bethesda teenagers have made their way from cell phone to cell phone by their own classmates. police investigating a sexting scandal at pyle middle and whitman high schools. in some cases, the photos were sold to students. we're joined with more details now. >> apparently the students posed willingly for the photos and were taken outside of the school. administrators have contacted the parents of the girls in those photographs as well as those who sold or purchased them. now, this discovery was made last week when a student brought an ipod touch to class with the explicit pictures. school officials notified police, then told parents in a letter the pictures were sold during the day. the school day at pyle middle school. in one case, a student collected money from classmates to let them see the photos. they don't believe school computers were used in any way. the kid

schools beneath the antarctic ice cap and sticky accelerators on toyotas. such is the scope of hope and change in president obama's universe. the editorial goes on to say, in his 2011 budget the president zeroed out nasa constellation project, the project of launch and landing vehicles that were to replace the aging space shuttle fleet to carry americans into space. this is not a cost-cutting move. the agency is budgeted to receive $19 billion next year. and mr. obama wants to throw an additional $6 billion at it over the next five years. the hitch is he wants to shift its mission toward climate research and airplane design. anxious to stay relevant, nasa agreed to research the cause of toyota's sudden acceleration problem. nasa administrator charles bolden said thursday that federal money is budgeted for fostering the growth of the space industry including the development of space taxis. but if the results of the president's stimulus are any indication, command economic policy is an inefficient generator of jobs. it goes on to say, as nasa's wings are clipped, our competitors soar.
